AxOS installation - keyboard layout not applied to SDDM

I like my operating system talking English, but using my regional keyboard layout. During installation I selected the following:

• HU (QWERTZ) keyboard layout
• Europe / Budapest
• US region only, so the system stays in English

After the installation, SDDM still uses US layout, only after logging in it changes. I think it would make sense to apply the selected layout to the logon screen as well, especially if only one layout was chosen during installation.

Sddm is a little crankie with these things.. i've seen the same on many machines, that is why i stick with fully us english and only kb_layout my secondary language options... 🤷

It can be changed easily:

localectl status
System Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8
VC Keymap: hu
X11 Layout: (unset)

localectl set-x11-keymap hu

localectl status
System Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8
VC Keymap: hu
X11 Layout: hu

Now SDDM seems to use my preferred layout. Maybe set-x11-keymap can be executed during installation too?

set-x11-keymap is executed during the Installation process. However, the effects are not applied somehow
