MAINT: clean-up tqdm usage as warnings are raised and output looks ugly

We should at least hide the output for the rendering, but I would even say, remove the usage of the package.

I feel that these are sometimes helpful to leave in the released notebooks (eg, Fornax light-curve-collector?), but more often they're just left over from development and could/should be taken out in the released version.
