Concrete evidence for adding google/gemini-3.8-flash to the Desktop model list (seconding the earlier comment):

The account side already provisions Gemini. Live GET /api/v1/freebuff/session on a Starter subscription (active, accessTier "full") returns:

• rateLimitsByModel["google/gemini-3.8-flash"] → limit 7/day, pool subscription:starter, poolLabel "Starter plan", breakdown base 4 + subscription 3 — identical treatment to GPT-5.6 Luna / GLM 5.3 Flash / DeepSeek V4 Flash.
• freebucks.prices["google/gemini-3.8-flash"] → 50 Freebucks/hr for spend beyond plan sessions.

So Starter accounts are entitled to Gemini sessions; the server hands out the quota. The client just never surfaces it.

The Desktop picker omits it while the web catalog includes it. In the desktop bundle (0.0.93), GEMINI_38_FLASH_MODEL ("Gemini 3.8 Flash", premium, 1M context) is fully defined, and the web catalog constants (FREEBUFF_WEB_MODELS) list it — but the Desktop Freebuff picker is built from a separate fixed list (FREEBUFF_MODELS, six entries) that does not include Gemini:

• GLM 5.3 Flash, DeepSeek V4 Flash, GPT-5.6 Luna, MiMo 2.5, Solar Pro 4, Muse Spark 1.3

As a result, a Starter desktop user who is entitled to 7 Gemini sessions/day sees no way to start one in the Desktop app.

Suggested fix: add Gemini 3.8 Flash to the Desktop model list (same catalog constant GPT-5.6 Luna already lives in), and check whether the FREEBUFF_PRO_ONLY_CATALOG_MODEL_IDS flag shared with GPT-5.6 Luna is meant to exclude Gemini from Desktop — GPT-5.6 Luna is shown to Starter users today, so that flag does not appear to be a hard gate.
