I found this tool via the ionos.com website. I wonder if this is a generic dyndns client or if it is specific to that hoster. It would save visitors a bit of time if you clarified very briefly in the README what your programs does.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. We are indeed missing some intro text about this matter.

The client, even though maintained indeed by IONOS, is universal and can be used with any DNS provider supporting the domainconnect protocol and also offering this dyndns service. I know personally it works with GoDaddy and IONOS, but any other provider from the list https://www.domainconnect.org/dns-providers/ may support it as well.
