Current Behavior

When a TextField widget is narrow, also using a small font size (e.g., 10), and also Clear Icon size is small accordingly (e.g., 10), but the space latter occupies is of a big icon (e.g., 24).

Expected Behavior

Space of the Clear Icon should shrink accordingly to the size and leave more space for the field entry; not occupying half of the whole field.

Current situation really makes it practically unusable for narrow fields. One could delete Clear Icon, but is very useful in special cases.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. New TextField widget and add a Clear Field Icon.
  2. Set font to 10, Icon to 24. Make TextField narrow.
  3. -> then reduce the Icon size to 10 and check. Space occupied by the Clear Field Icon doesn't shrink, while taking space for the input value.

Reproducible from Blank

  • The steps to reproduce above start from a blank project.
