tagged releases and maven deployment for java

• would it be possible to properly git tag the releases to line up with the release notes (which refer to versions). additionally, use github releases for changelog would also integrate with dependabot nicely.
• would it be possible to deploy versioned artifacts to maven central or github packages? i have a branch in which i have simple github packages upload, but i understand iab tech lab does maven central deploys (like for iabgpp-java)
