During the course of the project Svelte changed major versions from 4 to 5 and as a result the syntax has drastically changed, foregoing the '$' label syntax for reactivity.
While the automatic migration tool might come in useful, there are certain parts of the codebase that would need to be overhauled so svelte 5 features are used as intended.
