OpenParcelBox was initiated in 2026 by Jan Elsner / OpenParcelBox Project as an open, local-first and self-hostable project for smart parcel boxes, retrofit locks, secure bridge firmware, self-hosted access control, optional cloud services and professional integrations.

OpenParcelBox, the OpenParcelBox logo, OpenParcelBox Cloud, OpenParcelBox Certified, OpenParcelBox Compatible, Powered by OpenParcelBox and related names or marks are reserved project identifiers and trademarks of the OpenParcelBox project.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, software, documentation and hardware licenses do not grant permission to use the OpenParcelBox name, logo, certification marks or domain identity for commercial products, hosted services or official compatibility claims.
OpenParcelBox is currently in an early planning and specification phase. No production hardware, firmware or security guarantees exist yet.
