Feature request: histogram function

Hi,

I use Analytics on a regular basis, mainly with Nextcloud Tables as data source.
Recently, I ran into the problem of doing a histogram analysis of enums, although the general idea is not bound to this data type.

I have a timestamp in one column and an enum in another. I failed trying to get a histogram out of this, let alone a grouped histogram with the timeline shown as days/weeks/months/years on the x-scale and the enum being represented as a goup-entity.

If I am not totally blind and this feature is already in place, I would be very happy to see a histogram feature like this added.

Sure. Here is a screenshot.

In the histogram I would expect three columns: Option 1, Option 2 and Option 3 each attached with the number of occurrences of the specific option.

At best the histogram can handle multi selection enums and can be filtered to a specific date range.

Is this description understandable? I am happy to help.

The height of each column represents the number of occurrences for each option.

The advanced version grouped by time range would look like this:

Here the content is the same but grouped by e.g. month.

sorry for the late reply. reporting on type=selection columns is not possible, if they consist of several values.
technically every line of the table is extracted as one line in the report data. having 1:n values in there - I would not even know how to do this in a meaningful way.

So I am afraid, this is not possible with Analytics

Thanks for your reply.
Analysis on a multiselect column is just the icing on the cake. I would be happy if analysis on a a single value would be possible.

E.g. A table looking like this:

I just removed the multiselect option of the column enum as I can transform my data.
