wf-background: wallpaper is blurry after switching login sessions

When using wf-background with Wayfire and fractional scaling, at first the wallpaper behaves normally, but once you switch to a TTY or another graphical session then you come back to Wayfire's session, the wallpaper is very blurry and looks like a low resolution image.
This was tested with wf-shell 0.10.0 and Wayfire built from git master branch a few days ago.
This problem doesn't happen with other wallpaper tools like swaybg.

I don't know if the PR in this issue fixes this problem.

I think wf-shell 0.10.0 is the gtk3 version. wf-shell master branch has been updated to use gtk4. Can you check if it happens there too?

I had to install a few dependencies that weren't listed in the readme, but after running the meson command successfully, I have an issue with ninja -C build:

/usr/local/include/wayfire/config/types.hpp:4:10: fatal error: glm/vec4.hpp: No such file or directory
    4 | #include <glm/vec4.hpp>

The error print is very large but the common problem is this line

This seems strange. Maybe it is the case that you installed wayfire and wf-config with glm installed and then uninstalled glm? I would check to make sure glm is installed and the header exists in /usr/include/glm/vec4.hpp. You can try also find /usr -name vec4.hpp

I also had to install gtk4-layer-shell
It seems that it compiled successfully now, I'm going to test with a wallpaper

Are you setting another path than the default in your configuration ? As of recent, we ship multiple backgrounds for wf-background to cycle through, now at prefix/wf-shell/backgrounds/ instead of at (if my memory serves me right) prefix/wayfire/wf-shell/background.jpg

Yeah I'm using a custom path to one of my images for the wallpaper in my wf-shell.ini image = ...
It's an absolute path too

Looks like the difference in code is the removal of the wordfree() call? I removed it and rebuilt, but I still have the same wordexp error

The patch doesn't remove anything, just rearranges the code a bit.
