Version 2.0.0 is a major release of the CodeDeploy agent, reimplemented in Rust and shipping as a single native binary with no Ruby runtime dependencies.
The v2.0.0 agent is being rolled out across AWS Regions and might not be available in all Regions yet. It is an opt-in upgrade that can currently only be installed from the command line, see Install the CodeDeploy agent using the command line.
