connects to google related subnet

Hi friend,

I just installed and first I block all connections and isolated the app for tests.
The first action is trying many ips google related.
172.217.116., 172.217.115., 172.217.114.*, and on and on...

Why?

I set syncthing just for local discovery and nothing else.
Reports and crash opted out.

Why this connections from the app?

Can you go to the Syncthing web UI -> Actions -> Support Bundle and upload that file here?

I suspect there's still some other Syncthing setting that needs to be turned off. All network connections come from Syncthing. BasicSync never makes its own connections.

When you click that support bundle option, it should open the file manager with a support bundle zip file. Please upload that file here on Github (it contains a copy of the Syncthing config file with passwords removed).

I did some quick testing on my device with PCAPdroid to monitor the network connections.

If you disable Enable NAT traversal, Global Discovery, and Enable Relaying, then Syncthing does not make any external connections.
