Circular References problem

Dear all,
I am using Typo3 8.7.32 and have installed via composer the package "devlog/devlog": "^3.0".

Maybe I have not proper configured the extension, but it fills my sys_log table with thousands of "Circular refefences" error:

[WARNING] Core: Error handler (BE): PHP Warning: var_export does not handle circular references in xxxxxx/public/typo3conf/ext/devlog/Classes/Domain/Repository/EntryRepository.php line 432 (ErrorHandler.php 133).

Do you have a hint how to solve my problem?

Hi. I never had this warning but I can see the problem. The issue is that I don't see with what I could replace var_export without important changes and I'm not maintaining this extension anymore (on account of devlog being deprecated since TYPO3 v9). I remember trying to us \TYPO3\CMS\Extbase\Utility\DebuggerUtility::var_dump() and that it didn't work well, but I don't remember why.
