Did any archived dump contain 萬王之王 (KK/GKK/KOK, Lager 雷爵) mudlib fragments? #2

Description

@joebine170-debug

Question: does any processed archive dump contain 萬王之王 (KK / GKK / KOK, Lager/雷爵)?

First: incredible project — 199 restored libs is the deepest preservation survey of the Chinese MUD scene anywhere.

I'm hunting one lineage I did not find among the 207 gallery entries: 萬王之王 (King of Kings) — the LPC-lineage game by Lager Network Technologies (雷爵, Taiwan), i.e. the original text/graphical MUD KK and its successors GKK/KOK, which became the graphical MMORPG KOK3.

Why I'm asking you specifically: while processing "community archive dumps" you must have catalogued far more material than what made the playable list. Two questions:

  1. Did any dump contain a KK/KOK/萬王之王 lib or even fragments? Fingerprints of that codebase: adm/daemons/postboxd_v2.c, kingdom_d.c, chard.c, combatd.c with cmds/usr/auction.c, std/house.c, quests/ numbering like quests/Q00001.c.
  2. Do any of the community dumps/sources you know of still circulate that might hold it (old BBS file areas, 2000s-era CN/TW mud archive collections)?

Context: we hold the complete official English localization archive for KOK3 keyed to exact server source paths (540 files referenced), and are working on a revival/reconstruction effort. Happy to share findings back to the collection if anything turns up.

Thanks!
