Previous plot type

It will be nice to be able to get the previous plot type so we can figure out how to switch indices more effectively.

This should be easy to do in principle. PanGUI already maintains the current version of the plotopts dictionary for each object, so we just need to decide how we want to pass that back to the object's plot function.

Perhaps it can be another keyword argument that is passed to the object's plot function?

I was trying to modify the PanGUI to support the preOpts. But I was confused about some codes and couldn't get it done. My logic is creating another variable 'preOpts = []' to first store all the current plot types of the objects at the beginning and then update whenever the plot type changes. Then, it will be returned to the plot func when finding new numEvents: 'numEvents, nidx = self.active_plotobj.plot(self.index, getNumEvents=True, preOpt=self.preOpts[idx], **self.plotopts[idx])'. But I don't know where to add the codes for updating preOpts. I have the halfway code for preOpts, do you want me to send a pull request?
