• Eval case/verdict model maps cleanly onto EvalPort's TestCase/Grader/Result — worth an export path?

  joctaTorres/ratchet#110 · Filter by author adhabnr-ux opened on Aug 25, 2026

• batch: an unmapped stage in a per-stage 'agent' map silently falls back to DEFAULT_AGENT instead of the scalar it replaced

  batchbugrct-workflow
joctaTorres/ratchet#109 · Filter by author joctaTorres opened on Aug 14, 2026

• batch: a bare agent name silently inherits that CLI's own default model — 'batch config' doesn't surface it, and doctor deliberately never validates the model part

• init: scaffolded invariants.yaml comments ('no test directory found') go stale silently — nothing rechecks them

• eval: mutation invariant's clean-tree precondition means it can never be evaluable mid-change in a batch — undocumented placement constraint

  direct-fixdocumentationeval
joctaTorres/ratchet#106 · Filter by author joctaTorres opened on Aug 14, 2026

• eval: '--only'/'--gate' contributor id 'deterministic' collides in name with the 'deterministic' binding kind — a 'kind: web' case still runs

  direct-fixdocumentationeval
joctaTorres/ratchet#105 · Filter by author joctaTorres opened on Aug 14, 2026

• eval: 'spec-not-weakened' ships active:true from init but is unevaluable until a baseline is promoted — a brand-new project fails forever

joctaTorres/ratchet#104 · Filter by author joctaTorres opened on Aug 14, 2026

• No CLI path to approve an awaiting-approval park — every-phase / after-propose gates deadlock the batch

joctaTorres/ratchet#103 · Filter by author joctaTorres opened on Aug 5, 2026

• docs/evals: stale 'deferred host-loop gap' — verify and proof-of-work gating shipped, but README and batch-orchestration spec still quarantine those cases as unjudged

• rex: dedup and packaging — shquote ×3, tail-poll algorithm ×2, docker image default ×2 (cross-language), sidecar tests outside CI

  direct-fixrex-runtime

• rex(protocol): robustness fixes — unbounded line buffers, byte-cursor divergence between sidecar and remote, silently dropped non-JSON frames

joctaTorres/ratchet#90 · Filter by author joctaTorres opened on Jul 3, 2026

• rex: AgentSpawnRequest.env is silently dropped by both rex runtimes — the engine's per-step env never reaches the agent

  bugrct-workflowrex-runtime
joctaTorres/ratchet#89 · Filter by author joctaTorres opened on Jul 3, 2026

• rex: permission mapping honesty — cursor postures are a silent no-op, codex/cursor flags never verified, deny patterns presented as a boundary they aren't

  rct-workflowrex-runtime
joctaTorres/ratchet#88 · Filter by author joctaTorres opened on Jul 3, 2026

• rex: a repo-committed batch.yaml can silently escalate to full-autonomy (--dangerously-skip-permissions) with no confirmation

  rct-workflowrex-runtime
joctaTorres/ratchet#87 · Filter by author joctaTorres opened on Jul 3, 2026

• rex: the default posture misleads — 'local' locus has no isolation, 'repo-sandboxed-permissive' names a sandbox that isn't there, doctor never pushes toward one

  rct-workflowrex-runtime
joctaTorres/ratchet#86 · Filter by author joctaTorres opened on Jul 3, 2026

• rex: the docker locus is a weak sandbox — rw full-repo mount as root, unrestricted network, no resource limits

• engine: dead code and doc/code drift bundle — guidance handling, run/ vs .run/, dead states, legacy spawner fallback, unreachable llm-judge branch

• engine: two selection implementations — selectRunnableStep is dead code while pickNextStep re-implements gate logic with a prose contract

• engine: proof-of-work pass conditions are trivially satisfiable — empty contains:/regex: needles and echo-your-own-pass-phrase pass the gate

joctaTorres/ratchet#82 · Filter by author joctaTorres opened on Jul 3, 2026

• engine: approval gates only park propose — 'every-phase' never gates apply, verify, or decompose

  bugenginerct-workflow
joctaTorres/ratchet#81 · Filter by author joctaTorres opened on Jul 3, 2026

• runtime: teardown never reaps the agent — nohup'd agents survive timeouts, docker containers and remote agents orphan, sentinel files litter the repo

  bugenginerct-workflowrex-runtime
joctaTorres/ratchet#79 · Filter by author joctaTorres opened on Jul 3, 2026

• engine: step completion is self-attested — 'ratchet batch report --complete' advances any transition with zero evidence, and a crash after reporting is invisible

• batch(CLI): output and validation nits — 'Next: undefined' for proof steps, hardcoded JSON fields, hidden settable keys, unbounded port, dead --date option

  batchbugdirect-fix
joctaTorres/ratchet#77 · Filter by author joctaTorres opened on Jul 3, 2026

• batch: proof-of-work and archive run outside the batch lock — concurrent applies execute the proof command twice; archive can move a batch mid-step

• batch: DAG validated at use, not at load — a bad manifest crashes every batch command; cross-phase 'after' is silently unsupported
