Need some clarification

Hi there,

I came across Project Ace and am hoping this mailbox is still active, seeing as the project has been discontinued.

I’d like to know if there are any plans to pick this up again? I think this is amazing and I would like to use it going forward! I could do with some help though in implementing it. Please advise if there is someone I can contact. Or has someone else taken this over?

It's still discontinued. No one that i have searched for has taken it over.

I hope they do soon!

I have downloaded this project as we need to use it, i there is any work that needs to be done to make it compatible in future that i manage to do, i will post the updates.

EpicJoker93 Thanks for your response, I really hope you're able to make it useful to the rest of us! While you're at it, I won't be opposed if you decide to find an easier way to write the UI without having to compile XAML first before doing the app build :)

I ALSO won't mind if you decided to create features like:

• the ability to do hot code pushes (to remove the need to recompile after updates)
• Ability to handle push notifications
• and whatever other awesomeness I see being built into Nativescript's Sidekick and React Native's Expo tools... (those are still not complete solutions in their isolation...)

delanick Hey bud. Unfortunately, our company has decided to go the native route for these projects. Unfortunately no time if not under company payroll on this broad of a project. Someone will pick this up soonish im sure!

I wonder why cordova don't take this up as it will benefit their offering 10-fold! If they can play in the option of creating native UI, along with all other native capabilities they already offer, they may just keep their market share and not lose out to Nativescript and React Native...

PLEASE let me know if you ever hear of someone taking this up, or the like! I really would take it up myself if I had any idea how!
