General Chat Rules of Conduct

Welcome to the ZeroG Studio General Chat. This space is designated for informal community interaction, general discussions related to non-demanding games, and connecting with other members. To ensure a productive and welcoming environment for all, please adhere to the following guidelines.

---

1. Respect and Professionalism

All interactions must be conducted with respect, empathy, and professionalism.

• Be Respectful: Treat all participants with courtesy, regardless of their background, experience level, or opinions.
• Constructive Dialogue: Criticism should be directed at ideas, code, or projects, not at individuals. Maintain a positive and constructive tone.
• Inclusivity: Use inclusive language and be mindful of the diverse global community. Discriminatory, hateful, or harassing remarks are strictly prohibited.

---

2. Topic Relevance and Focus

This is the General Chat. While broader topics are permitted here than in specific project categories, please keep the discussion relevant to the community's general interests.

• Stay On-Topic (Generally): Discussions should primarily relate to casual games, game development, technology optimization, or community events.
• Avoid Off-Topic Posting: Excessive discussion of politics, religion, or other highly divisive non-technical subjects should be avoided.
• Use the Right Forum: Questions or reports related to specific code, bugs, features, or project implementation should be posted as Issues or in the appropriate Discussion Category (e.g., "Game Feedback," "Brainstorming").

---

3. Communication Standards

Maintain clarity and quality in your contributions.

• Mindful Sharing: Do not post unsolicited or non-relevant links to external projects, websites, or personal content. Links shared must add value to the current conversation.
• Avoid Spam and Repetition: Do not cross-post the same content across multiple discussions or submit "no-content" replies (e.g., single-word affirmations). Use the upvote/reaction features instead of posting "+1" or "Agreed."
• Language: Please primarily use English to ensure the conversation is accessible to the widest number of contributors.

---

4. Reporting and Moderation

We rely on the community to help maintain a healthy environment.

• Report Violations: If you observe any behavior that violates these rules, please report it to the organization administrators or moderators rather than engaging in a public argument.
• Moderator Discretion: Moderators reserve the right to hide, edit, or delete any comments or discussions that violate these rules, and to temporarily or permanently suspend users from participating in the discussions.
• Code of Conduct: These chat rules are supplementary to the organization's overarching Code of Conduct (if applicable).

Thank you for helping us maintain a supportive and productive community for ZeroG Studio.
