show documentation on tooltips + follow cursor while typing

It would be great if go-tip could follow the typing cursor (not just the mouse) and show the function signature and documentation of what is being typed.

Could you please provide a little more info here? If it were following the cursor as you typed, would that not offer the same functionality as autocomplete?

Kinda - except that the autocomplete stops and closes once you open a parenthesis to call a function (so you lose track of the arguments and their expected types that the function expects). So I gotta hover the mouse over the function name to see the names/types of the function's arguments (where it could be showing automatically).

For example, if I'm writing in a line (and the cursor is at the end):

conn, err := net.ListenMulticastUDP("udp", ‸

It would be nice to have the go-tip show (either following the cursor, or below the line) the full function declaration (and maybe some documentation?):

It would be nice to have the go-tip show the same thing for log.Printf().

I see what you mean. Looking at how vscode works as an example is pretty nice. It continues to display the function signature and highlights which argument you're currently on. I definitely like this idea.
