Welcome to the development repository for Toast Revised.
Toast Revised is a Vanilla+ optimization modpack focused on improving Minecraft's performance, visuals, and overall experience without changing what makes the game enjoyable. Rather than adding large amounts of new content, the project focuses on making Minecraft smoother, more responsive, and easier to use through carefully selected performance and quality-of-life improvements.
The goal is simple: create a polished Vanilla+ experience that feels familiar while taking advantage of modern optimization tools.
Toast Revised is built around three core principles.
Buttery Smooth Performance
Performance comes first. Optimization mods such as Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, and ImmediatelyFast help improve frame rates, reduce memory usage, and provide a more stable experience across a wide range of hardware.
Modern Visual Experience
Visual enhancements should complement Minecraft, not replace it. Shader support, connected textures, and carefully selected resource packs help create a cleaner and more immersive experience while maintaining excellent performance.
Quality of Life
Every included feature is chosen to make Minecraft easier and more enjoyable to play. From better menus to multiplayer improvements and utility mods, the focus is on convenience without unnecessary complexity.
Toast Revised is designed to perform well on a wide variety of systems, from entry-level computers to modern gaming hardware.
Recommended specifications include:
- Processor (CPU): Modern quad-core processor or better.
- Graphics (GPU): Any graphics card with current OpenGL support.
- Memory: 4 GB of allocated RAM (8 GB or more recommended for larger resource packs and shaders).
Performance will vary depending on the selected resource packs, shaders, and system hardware, but the default configuration is designed to provide a smooth experience without additional setup.
