A lightweight Chrome extension designed for automated testing, developer research, and simulating synthetic browsing activity to evaluate cookie handling, cache behavior, and browser session persistence.
This tool was created for developers and QA engineers to simulate realistic user interaction patterns in a controlled environment. It automates tab creation, simulated pointer jitter, realistic pacing, and scrolling across standard reference websites to evaluate browser storage, session management, and client-side cookie persistence.
- Open Google Chrome and navigate to
chrome://extensions. - Enable Developer mode (toggle in the top right corner).
- Click Load unpacked.
- Select the directory containing this extension.
- Click the extension icon in the browser toolbar to open the control popup.
- Automated Interaction Testing: Simulates realistic navigation flows, scroll events, and pointer jitter to benchmark browser responsiveness.
- Controlled Pacing: Opens tabs with configurable delays and randomized intervals to emulate diverse network and interaction speeds.
- Session & Cookie Analysis: Generates synthetic browsing histories to test local storage, session longevity, and cookie attributes.
- Background Execution: Operates via background service workers and tabs, minimizing focus disruption during testing.
- Audit Logging: Stores interaction audit entries in local extension storage to verify and review simulated actions.
- Open the extension popup from your Chrome toolbar.
- Click Start Session to launch the automated testing routine with the default reference site list.
- Monitor interaction progress and audit logs directly in the popup interface.
- Click Stop Session at any time to pause or terminate the testing run.
