Blade OS falsely flagged by anti-malware solutions #5

Description

@novusthedev

Hello,

The Blade OS team are aware that certain anti-malware solutions have flagged Blade OS as a virus.

Our main goal is to provide users starting Linux an experience that they can be familiar with. All software included are open source, and are guaranteed safe to use. We'll NEVER try to scam our users nor inject malware into our operating system. All builds are built on GitHub actions, which is built on the published source code.

Certain ISP's might've blocked the Blade OS domain, preventing users from downloading important updates to their system.

Here's what you need to do:

Download from official sources: Downloading outside our official resources can be dangerous since malware could be included. So please, only download from our official sources.
Report a false positive: You can contact affected anti-malware sources and report them as a false positive. This would help a lot to prevent further issues and false positives.

Remember, we are here to help anyone starting out, NOT phishing and infecting users with malware.

From,
The Blade OS Team
