The npm name mcp-patchright-mainworld collided with an already-published package under someone else's account, and the recorded upstream (clawgramMaster/mcp-patchright) was wrong — this is actually a fork of maestrojeong/mcp-patchright. Corrects package.json/README references, adds the missing MIT LICENSE (required by the upstream license terms), and points repository/homepage/bugs at the renamed GitHub repo. Previously any push to dev published straight to npm with no verification. Now a v* tag (which must sit on main) builds the package, publishes it under the rc dist-tag, verifies the install and version on a clean runner, then promotes rc to latest. Matches the release flow used in capmonster-mcp-captcha-solver. Also fixes the tool-comparison link, which pointed at a placeholder.
