This page tracks the model providers behind Comfy's Partner Nodes in one table: verification status, commercial licensing for Cloud and local use, and data residency. It's a structure we're actively filling in, not a finished reference. Some columns reflect confirmed facts today, others are placeholders until we've verified the details with each provider.

For pricing by provider, see [Partner Node Pricing](/tutorials/partner-nodes/pricing).

## What each column means

- **Verified**: Comfy has a direct commercial and API partnership with the provider, and has reviewed the contract terms governing it. "In Process" means that review is in progress.
- **Commercial License (Cloud)**: whether commercial use through Comfy Cloud is confirmed for that provider's models.
- **Commercial License (Local)**: whether commercial use for local, self-hosted usage is confirmed for that provider's models. "Request" means commercial use needs a separate request or license rather than being included automatically.
- **Data Residency**: where a provider processes data by default today.

Providers still working through verification show "Pending" for both license columns rather than an assumed answer. That will change to a checkmark, a dash, or "Request" as each partnership is confirmed.

Additional data residency options may be available for Enterprise customers. Contact us for details.

This table is a living document. Verification status is current, but license and residency details for most providers are still being confirmed and will update as we verify them.

## About Open Source and Opt-in

It's important to note that **Partner Nodes are completely optional**. ComfyUI will always remain fully open-source and free for local users. Partner nodes are designed as an "opt-in" feature, providing convenience for those who want access to external SOTA (state-of-the-art) models.

A powerful application of Partner Nodes is combining the output of external models with local nodes. For example:

- Using GPT-Image-1 to generate a base image, then transforming it into video with a local `wan` node
- Combining externally generated images with local upscaling or style transfer nodes
