Subtitles settings are not applying and not sharp

Hello,

I've been mainly watching Anime as a .mkv and ASS subtitles, but I've noticed the subtitle setting won't actually change anything when the video is being played. It also looks like the subtitle seem to be "unsharp" and not crisp, like it's rendered into the video instead of displayed as text.

Reproduction steps

1. Open any video with an ASS subtitle
2. Try to change any subtitle settings

If native libass subtitles setting is enabled that is to be expected because subtitle settings work on ass subs when native libass is disabled but in that case in my experience positioning in ass subs won't work

Thanks! Just tested it when I disabled it and it does indeed apply. A shame the positioning won't work, especially for some Anime it makes the reading harder without.
