Describe the bug

I'm using a laptop which I seldom reboot, but do put to sleep every day.

I also leave Tuba running in a separate workspace.

Often, I refresh the timeline and notifications after waking the laptop from sleep, since this is not done automatically.

Recently, I've noticed degraded performance when scrolling in the timeline.

Restarting Tuba restored performance.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Leave Tuba on for an extended period (several weeks)
2. Scroll the timeline.

Noticing the same, except performance degrades much quicker for me. It seems like Tuba may not be clearing out what it caches in RAM? If left open long enough (a day or more), Tuba will start eating more and more RAM and performance steadily decreases as this occurs until the app stops responding to input. The last time this happened to me, I saw it was eating 1.7gb RAM, which dropped to about 150mb on restart.
