NGrid is a portable Windows utility for grid-based window placement, Moonlight/TightVNC batch launching, and saved layout restoration.

Features

Install

1. Download NGrid-v1.0.1.zip from Releases.
2. Extract the NGrid-v1.0.1 folder.
3. Run NGrid.exe.

No installer is required. NGrid is currently unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen may display a warning.

On first launch, NGrid creates:

• connections — host address lists;
• config — settings and saved positions.

Batch launching

Click OPEN NGRID FOLDER and add one address per line:

# connections/moonlight.txt

# connections/tightvnc.txt
192.0.2.20
192.0.2.21

Blank lines, # comments, and duplicate addresses are ignored. Moonlight launches the Desktop app by default.

Window layouts

1. Select a monitor grid.
2. Drag a window by its title bar while holding Shift.
3. Release the mouse button over a grid cell.

Use SAVE POSITIONS and LOAD POSITIONS for remote sessions. Enable AUTO to restore positions after a configurable delay.

Requirements

• Windows 10 or 11;
• Moonlight and/or TightVNC for the corresponding connections.

NGrid works locally and does not upload addresses or settings. Review connections and config before sharing diagnostic files.

NGrid — портативная Windows-утилита для раскладки окон по сетке, массового запуска Moonlight/TightVNC и восстановления сохранённых позиций.

Возможности

• отдельный шаблон сетки для каждого монитора;
• размещение окна через Shift + перетаскивание;
• массовый запуск Moonlight и TightVNC из списков адресов;
• настраиваемая задержка между запусками;
• сохранение и восстановление позиций окон;
• автоматическая расстановка после запуска подключений.

Установка

1. Скачайте NGrid-v1.0.1.zip на странице Releases.
2. Распакуйте папку NGrid-v1.0.1.
3. Запустите NGrid.exe.

Установщик не требуется. Приложение пока не подписано, поэтому Windows SmartScreen может показать предупреждение.

При первом запуске рядом с EXE появятся папки:

• connections — списки адресов;
• config — настройки и сохранённые позиции.

Массовый запуск

Нажмите OPEN NGRID FOLDER и добавьте по одному адресу на строку:

# connections/tightvnc.txt
192.0.2.20
192.0.2.21

Пустые строки, комментарии с # и повторяющиеся адреса игнорируются. Moonlight по умолчанию запускает приложение Desktop.

Раскладка окон

1. Выберите шаблон для монитора.
2. Перетаскивайте окно за заголовок, удерживая Shift.
3. Отпустите кнопку мыши над нужной ячейкой.

Для удалённых сессий используйте SAVE POSITIONS и LOAD POSITIONS. Функция AUTO восстанавливает позиции автоматически после заданной задержки.

Требования

• Moonlight и/или TightVNC для соответствующих подключений.

NGrid работает локально и никуда не отправляет адреса или настройки. Перед публикацией отчётов проверяйте содержимое connections и config.

Build / Сборка

powershell.exe -NoProfile -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\Build-NGridExe.ps1

The build requires no external packages and creates dist\NGrid-v1.0.1.zip.

Сборка не требует внешних пакетов и создаёт dist\NGrid-v1.0.1.zip.
