The surql.query.expressions aggregates render SurrealQL that SurrealDB parses: count() and count(field) instead of COUNT(*), and math::sum, math::mean, math::min, and math::max instead of SUM, AVG, MIN, and MAX. __version__ had stayed at 1.9.0 through the 1.10.0 release; it now matches pyproject.toml and uv.lock.

The
surql.query.expressionsaggregates renderedCOUNT(*)andSUM/AVG/MIN/MAX, which SurrealDB rejects at parse time, so any query projecting one of them failed before it ran. They now rendercount(),count(field), andmath::sum/math::mean/math::min/math::max, the same SurrealQL themath_*helpers already emit (#116).Version
Patch. A bug fix with no change to the shape of the public surface: the same helpers and signatures, now emitting SurrealQL the server accepts.
__version__insrc/surql/__init__.pyhad stayed at 1.9.0 through the 1.10.0 release; it now reads 1.10.1 alongsidepyproject.tomlanduv.lock.
