Version: 0.3.0 alpha.13 (pre release)
Thank you for solving the problem with word-by-word lyrics that I suggest! But I think there is still room for improvement, like:
Improve lyrics animation (again). Although it not a serious issue right now
Improve LRC file reading with new format
Add Vietnamese support
Describe the solution you'd like
Improve lyrics animation: I think the animation can be improve with gradient sliding through the word, like this example from Gramophone. Or fade in word color instead of jumping. Not priority now, just nice to have

Improve LRC file reading and support new format: I think it should support more things and stuff that can appear in LRC file like
[bg:] (small lyrics under main lyrics for back vocals)
V1: v2: (for multiple artist, v1 left, v2 right)
Pronunciation: word like "sleeping" pronounce as "sleep-ing" sometime the word split up for example as the artist slowdown singing like "I'm sleeeeeeep.....ping in your arm"
Example LRC line <00:45.73>whis<00:46.29>per
You can see that "whisper" is split up. To make the app know when to split or merge, it really simple
Example:
Split (there is a split between time and the word)
merge (there is no split between the time and the word)

Add support for Vietnamese: not exactly have to translate the whole app to Vietnamese yet. But the lyrics. Sometimes Vietnamese lyrics will mess up the lyrics system and only display as <?>. So this should be font problem
Anyway! Great app. It really smooth and easy to use. And to be honest it way better than many offline music player out there!
Describe alternatives you've considered
I have tried many other music player but nothing match PixelPlayer. But for the lyrics part, I think, you should try the Gramophone app: the lyrics animation slide gradient, the interface is really smooth and work great on mid range device (tested on Snapdragon 690 aka my phone). So I recommend you should try that out, visit and look at the code or something.
