💼 Mateusz Dubak — IT & Automation Portfolio

IT Support Specialist · Microsoft 365 Automation · Power Platform Builder
Turning manual, repetitive IT work into reliable, automated solutions.

👋 About Me

I'm an IT Support Specialist who works at the intersection of help‑desk operations and automation engineering. Day to day I keep users productive — but my real passion is spotting the repetitive, manual tasks behind the scenes and replacing them with clean, dependable automation.

Over time this has grown into a toolkit of PowerShell and Python scripts, Power Platform solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), and SharePoint integrations that streamline onboarding, asset management, monitoring, and approvals. I'm currently expanding into Microsoft Fabric and modern data analytics.

This portfolio is a curated, fully genericized showcase of that work — no client, employer, or personal data is included. Every script uses placeholder values and is safe to read, run, and reuse.

🗂️ What's In This Portfolio

This repository is organised as a set of self‑contained project areas. Each one has its own README with details, setup steps, and examples.

# Project What it demonstrates Tech
1 IT Automation Toolkit Reusable scripts for AD reporting, file auditing, device monitoring, and disk‑space checks; plus Python utilities for parsing alert emails and cleaning CSVs. PowerShell Python
2 M365 Administration Lab Power Automate flow patterns (approvals with audit trails, email→list ingestion), Power Apps UX patterns, and M365 governance/naming standards. Power Automate Power Apps
3 Power BI Dashboard Templates Documented data models and DAX for a printer/device monitoring dashboard and an IT asset‑tracking dashboard. Power BI DAX
4 Power Apps Starter Kits App blueprints — an equipment checkout system and an employee‑onboarding checklist — with schemas and formulas. Power Apps SharePoint
5 SharePoint Solutions PnP PowerShell scripts to provision an asset‑register list and bulk‑import items from CSV. PnP PowerShell
6 Vibe Coding Projects AI‑assisted mini‑apps — including a zero‑dependency landing‑page generator you can host live on GitHub Pages. HTML CSS JS

🚀 How to Explore

  1. Browse a project — click any link in the table above; each folder has its own README.
  2. Run something — most scripts are parameterised and ready to run. Example:
    .\it-automation-toolkit\powershell\Get-ADUserReport.ps1 -OutputPath .\users.csv
    python it-automation-toolkit/python/email_alert_parser.py --input ./samples --output alerts.json
  3. See a live demo — the Vibe Coding landing‑page generator runs entirely in the browser.

🔒 Data & Safety

Everything here is deliberately safe to publish:

  • ✅ No credentials — configuration is done via .env files (see each .env.example); real secrets are .gitignore‑blocked.
  • ✅ No real data — all names, domains, servers, and IPs are placeholders (example.local, SERVER01, 192.0.2.x).
  • ✅ No client or employer information — projects are genericized versions inspired by real work.
