SkillSync is an intelligent learning navigator that creates personalized roadmaps to help you achieve your career and skill goals. This project is a frontend implementation of the SkillSync concept, showcasing a modern, responsive user interface built with Tailwind CSS.
The internet is flooded with tutorials, courses, and articles, making it difficult to know where to start learning a new skill. SkillSync is designed to solve this problem by acting as a GPS for your career development.
It allows users to input their learning goals and, in turn, provides a curated, step-by-step learning path. This frontend prototype demonstrates the core user interface and experience, from discovering a skill to seeing the generated learning paths.
This project was built using modern frontend technologies with a focus on efficiency and design.
- HTML5
- CSS3
- Vanilla JavaScript
- Tailwind CSS
To get a local copy up and running, please follow these simple steps.
You need to have Node.js and npm installed on your machine to handle the project's dependencies and build scripts.
- You can download Node.js (which includes npm) here.
- Clone the repository to your local machine:
git clone https://github.com/RizviBR0/SkillSync.git
- Navigate to the project directory:
cd SkillSync - Install NPM packages to get all the project dependencies (like Tailwind CSS):
npm install
- Run the Tailwind CSS build script. This command will watch for changes in your HTML and CSS files and automatically recompile the
tailwind.cssfile:npm run watch
- Preview the site. With the
watchscript running in your terminal, open theindex.htmlfile using a live server extension (like "Live Server" in VS Code) to view the project in your browser.
- Modern & Clean UI: A beautiful interface designed for a great user experience.
- Responsive Design: The layout is fully responsive and works on all screen sizes, from mobile phones to desktops.
- Interactive Elements: Smooth hover effects and an interactive input area for discovering skills.
- (Visual) Path Generation: A dynamic area to display the resulting learning paths from a user's search.
This is currently a frontend-only project. The UI and all visual components are complete, but there is no backend functionality integrated yet. The logic for searching skills and generating real learning paths is planned for future development.
