Request: Support for Ubisoft Connect version of Assassin's Creed Syndicate (DRM/Crash issue)

Hi RoseTheFlower,

First of all, thank you so much for your amazing work and all the widescreen fixes you provide for the community!

I am trying to use your ultrawide tool for Assassin's Creed Syndicate on a 3840x1600 setup, but I am running into an issue with the Ubisoft Connect version of the game.

The Problem:
While the tool seems to work flawlessly for the Steam version, it fails or crashes when launched with the Ubisoft Connect executable (ACS.exe). It appears that the VMProtect/Denuvo DRM encryption used by Ubisoft on their native launcher prevents the tool from injecting the memory fix correctly into the RAM on startup.

My Setup:
Game:Assassin's Creed Syndicate (Ubisoft Connect Version)
Target Resolution: 3840x1600 (24:10)
OS: Windows 11 (Planning a migration to Linux/Proton soon)

Since I own the game directly on Ubisoft Connect, I would love to know if there is any possibility to adapt or update the tool to bypass or accommodate the native Ubisoft launcher's DRM behavior.

I would be more than happy to act as a tester for you, try out experimental builds, and provide logs/feedback if you don't have access to the Ubisoft Connect version yourself.

The tool itself shouldn't crash under any circumstances, even if it finds nothing or can't inject. That seems to be a sign of something else. I'm not aware of the Ubisoft Launcher itself using any protection, and if it does, it wouldn't be expected to extend onto anything else. The game does use VMProtect, but no Denuvo from what I'm seeing, though Denuvo has never interfered with modding in my experience across multiple titles with Denuvo.

Can you detail what happens exactly? Do you launch the game, then the tool, then press F7? What happens then?
