Dear user

We have double checked the information and it's actually correct:
To enable translation, a user must indeed have a scoped role, which includes scoped privileges.
The DW Space Administrator is a standard role, meaning that the role is delivered with SAP Datasphere. The DW Space Administrator is also a scoped role, which includes a set of scoped privileges. A scoped role is meant to do certain actions in a space as opposed to a global role which is meant to do certain actions on the whole tenant and not in a space.
The Prerequisites section of the documentation for Translating Metadata for SAP Analytics Cloud is therefore consistent.
Please let us know if you need further information.

Thank you and best regards
Cindy for the UA team
