Sprint 16C — v2.1.0 Release Hardening

Objective

Harden the current v2.1 release candidate for v2.1.0 without adding product scope.

Scope

• Full regression and production-build verification
• OCR runtime, asset, privacy, CSP, cold-load, cancellation, and cleanup validation
• Six-locale, theme, responsive, accessibility, and Chromium QA
• Existing PDF, image, metadata, routing, SEO, and deployment checks
• Release-hardening evidence and draft release notes

Acceptance criteria

• No release blocker remains
• Clean install, build, full tests, OCR smoke, locale, asset, privacy, and CSP checks pass
• Same-origin OCR operation is verified with no user-content persistence
• Release-hardening evidence records actual limitations and release readiness
• A review PR targets v2.1

This issue does not authorize merging into main, creating a v2.1.0 tag or release, or adding new features.
