Catalog Open form controls now use compact iridescent buttons with a 34px minimum height and 12px text. In dark mode the fill stays dark at rest, brightens with a glow on hover or keyboard focus, and plays the existing shine animation on hover. Card footers can wrap on narrow layouts.
The light theme replaces white surfaces with muted slate backgrounds, deeper lavender/teal accents, stronger borders, and darker supporting text. Explicit light hover styles cover navigation, filters, lookup results, field palette, favorites, and icon controls. Submission-count badges use larger, darker text on a tinted background. Version bumped to 0.5.7.
Validation: all 39 JavaScript and 187 Python tests pass; production build and install package succeed. Browser checks cover the catalog and form builder in both themes, compact button dimensions, opening a form with Enter, dark resting/hover gradients and active shine animation, and light sidebar hover and count-badge colors using an isolated simulated submission. Local demo only; live Splunk and AppInspect were not run.
