A beautiful, local-first, lightweight dashboard for tasks, notes, and bookmarks. Think of it as a browser bookmark manager crossed with Notion or Obsidian. Save what's worth keeping, track what's worth doing—all in one 100% offline workspace.

Your data never leaves your machine. It is stored in a single, portable db.json file, giving you 100% privacy.

🚀 Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Python 3.8 or higher
• pip (Python package manager)
• openpyxl (optional, only needed for XLSX export)

Installation

git clone https://github.com/<your-username>/Nexmark.git
cd Nexmark
pip install flask openpyxl

Running

python app.py

The app starts a local server on http://127.0.0.1:5000 and opens automatically in your default browser. Press Ctrl+C in the terminal to stop it.

Your vault is saved to db.json in the same folder — back it up or sync that file if you want to move your data between machines.

🏗️ Architecture

• app.py: The Flask backend. Handles routing, JSON/CSV/XLSX exports, and CRUD operations for the workspace.
• MyNexTask.html: The entire frontend (HTML, CSS, JS) bundled into a single file for instant loading and easy customization.
• db.json: The database. Automatically generated on the first run. Contains all your bookmarks, tasks, notes, categories, settings, and stats.
