Summary

Supersedes Dependabot #119 with a clean bump from current main.

  • Lock resolves cachetools 7.2.0 (pyproject lower bound >=7.1.7)
  • Runtime use remains TTLCache only (no @cached / @cachedmethod; cachetools 7 decorator breaks do not apply)
  • Typing fixes for cachetools 7 stubs:
    • drop redundant cast on TTLCache.get() in client/cache.py
    • explicit TTLCache[str, …] when recreating caches in configure_memory_limits
  • Unit test asserts restored cache value types after rebuild
  • CHANGELOG Unreleased note

Closes #119

Test plan

  • uv run ruff check src/ / ruff format --check src/
  • uv run mypy src/
  • uv run pytest -m "unit and not slow" (local env missing tzdata fails one unrelated timezone test; CI has zone data)
  • CI green on this PR

Lockfile now resolves cachetools 7.2.0 (requires >=7.1.7). cachetools 7
ships stubs that type TTLCache.get() as V | None, so the instrument
cache no longer needs a cast. Recreating order-tracking caches must use
TTLCache[str, dict[str, Any]] and TTLCache[str, int] so restore loops
do not mix value types.

Bump the runtime cachetools dependency from 6.1.0 to 7.2.0 (>=7.1.7).
TTLCache use is unchanged; typing matches cachetools 7 stubs.
