| 1. **Two layers: a rolling 5-hour window plus weekly caps.** Usage within the window scales with request complexity (long contexts and extended thinking all cost more); there is no fixed message count. Paid plans add a weekly allowance on top of the session window. | ||
| 2. **One shared pool across every surface.** Claude on web, desktop, mobile, and Claude Code all draw from the same allowance. On days when you run long Claude Code tasks, your chat quota drains with it. | ||
| 3. **Claude Code is included in every paid plan** - no separate subscription needed. For heavy coding sessions you can also switch to pay-as-you-go API credits through a Console account. |

Qualify Claude Code access to eligible paid plans
For Team subscribers, this universal claim is incorrect: data/tools/claude-code.yaml explicitly says Standard seats are paid but do not include Claude Code, while only Premium seats include it. A reader with a Standard seat could therefore make the wrong access or upgrade decision; qualify this as paid individual plans or enumerate the eligible plan/seat types in both locales.
