Imported photos can check voice-memo status before companion relationships are saved, leaving the browse badge absent until another view refreshes it. Notify thumbnails after the import relationship batch commits.
When transcript validation refuses a request before metadata preparation, retain its original template admission so the next explicit Retry Variable Writes can load the current transcript. Requests that have already prepared metadata keep their captured values. Add regression coverage for retry recovery and the import notification.
Increase the sidebar Activity row height and label size, and show aggregate progress below the label while tracked background work runs. Operations without numeric progress show an indeterminate bar.
Validation: focused VariableMetadataCallerTests and VoiceMemoCompanionRepositoryTests passed with xcodebuild; git diff --check passed.
