I use AI agents as governed engineering collaborators rather than isolated code generators. The architecture gives each agent the repository context, constraints, verification tools and escalation boundaries required to make professional-scale changes safely.

I favour domain-driven design, clean service boundaries and early validation. For complex products, I treat agents, tests, seed data, schemas, documentation and release gates as parts of the same engineering system—not separate afterthoughts.
