Closing: this bump breaks npm run lint, and CI does not cover it.

Reproduced locally on this PR branch (npm install --ignore-scripts -> eslint 10.0.0):

ESLint couldn't find an eslint.config.(js|mjs|cjs) file.

Control on master (eslint 5.16.0): npm run lint succeeds — 17 problems, 0 errors, 17 warnings, exit 0. So this is caused by the bump, not pre-existing.

Cause: this repo configures eslint with a legacy .eslintrc. Flat config became the default in eslint 9 and .eslintrc support was removed in eslint 10, so a 5.x -> 10.x jump cannot work without a config migration.

Why CI stayed green: .github/workflows/node.js.yml runs only npm ci, npm run build --if-present, and npm test. It never runs npm run lint, so the three passing build (18.x/20.x/22.x) checks say nothing about this change.

To do this properly, someone needs to migrate .eslintrc to eslint.config.js (see https://eslint.org/docs/latest/use/configure/migration-guide), port the existing rule set, and ideally add a lint step to CI so the config is actually exercised. That is outside what Dependabot can do in a version bump.
