Customize the AI Coding Workshop for Java/Spring Boot clients, adapting from .NET while maintaining all workshop concepts and patterns.

Background

• Target Audience: Enterprise Java development teams transitioning to AI-assisted development
• Use Case: Legacy system modernization (Mule ESB → Spring Boot microservices)
• Workshop Goal: Enable technical leaders to become AI pioneers and train their teams
• Success Metrics: Achieve 3-5x productivity improvements and 70%+ test coverage

Goals

1. Create Spring Boot Steering Document (Spring Boot version of Copilot Instructions)
2. Build custom agents for modernization workflows (Mule ESB → Spring Boot)
3. Add Java/Spring Boot examples to all labs
4. Create Spring Boot-specific dev container and pattern library
5. Enable participants to train others using adapted materials

Success Criteria

• All documentation includes Spring Boot patterns alongside .NET examples
• 4 custom agents created and tested (Modernization, Quality Gate, Test Coverage, Architecture Reviewer)
• Labs 1, 2, 3, and 9 include Spring Boot examples
