v2.27.2

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 01 Oct 19:26
b508078

Data-consistency fixes from the third CCTV expert audit (2026-10-01). Every value change cites the manufacturer's own documentation and was re-checked by an independent reviewer that reverted edits its source didn't support. No new cameras.

Fixed

  • RTSP URLs taken from iSpy (60 → 0) — re-sourced from each maker's own documentation: TRUEN now uses its documented /video1+audio1 paths, Panasonic PM-series keeps /profile1 with the manual as source; where no official path exists (ZKTeco, some ABUS, Illustra multisensor, IMOU) the iSpy path was removed so the brand guide (if any) applies.
  • RTSP guides without placeholders — Axis, Arecont Vision, LILIN, Siqura and Cisco guides no longer carry placeholders such as <profile> or <uniq>: documented defaults were filled in or the template moved to unverified_leads.
  • NDAA claims on brands that resell Hikvision/Dahua cameras — checked against each maker's statement: Honeywell (89, NDAA page and datasheets added as sources), ClareVision CLR-V (25), Luma X20 (21), IC Realtime IPND (9), Amcrest AMLINK and Helix and Night Owl (brand NDAA statement) keep their claim; unsupported Amcrest claims were removed.
  • ONVIF — onvif_port without ONVIF listed: 35 → 9, checked against datasheets.
  • Two-way audio — cameras with a microphone and speaker but "no two-way audio": 112 → 75, from datasheets.
  • Stream names — video.streams use main / sub / third on 341 more records ("Main Stream", "Stream 1", unnamed lists in descending resolution) plus 95 from datasheets; 9 left.
  • Night vision — 4 records with type "none" and an IR range corrected.
  • Doorbells marked outdoor (8); a substream identical to the main stream removed (1).

No new cameras.

v2.27.1

@github-actions github-actions released this 01 Oct 16:21
7926035

Data-consistency fixes from the second CCTV expert audit (2026-10-01). Every value change cites the manufacturer's own documentation (manual, support KB, datasheet) and was re-checked by an independent reviewer that reverted edits its source didn't support. Third-party RTSP lists were not used; where a maker publishes nothing, the record is left as it was. No new cameras.

Fixed — RTSP paths

  • 20 new brand RTSP guides (strix/verified/), 143 verified guides in total (was 120): 360 Vision Technology, Akuvox, AVYCON, Bolin, Comelit, Costar, Dallmeier, Eagle Eye Networks, Ernitec, ESCAM, Illustra, IQinVision, LILIN, Luminys, Oncam, Tenda, Toshiba, Trassir, Urmet, Vicon, Vikylin, Zavio. Cameras without a path of their own now get their brand's documented path: cameras listing RTSP with no path at all fell from 2,750 to 1,379.
  • Illustra (57) — iSpy-sourced /primarystream → /videoStreamId=1 + /videoStreamId=2, per Illustra's Gen4 manuals.
  • Per-model paths where a brand's product lines differ (Mapesen face-recognition /stream_0, ESCAM per-model URLs, Oncam EVO-05, Vikylin series and others).
  • 29 RTSP guide files converted to the canonical shape, so brand names display correctly (i-PRO, IDIS, LTS, ZKTeco, HOLOWITS …).
  • Still without any official path: Mapesen (339), NOVUS, Grundig, Homaxi, Meari, Infiniti Optics, BCS, Avtron, Secureye, CNB, Ajax and smaller brands.

Fixed — specs and consistency

  • ONVIF — onvif added to protocols (or a wrong onvif_port removed) after checking the datasheets: mismatches fell from 804 to 35.
  • PoE class vs power draw — classes and maximum draw re-read from datasheets (a class is only kept when the datasheet prints it): contradictions fell from 350 to 114.
  • Max resolution vs main stream — max resolution is the main-stream output, not sensor pixels: mismatches fell from 442 to 83.
  • Protocols / connectivity / storage — rtsp added on 653 cameras that have an RTSP URL, ethernet on 333 PoE cameras, storage.onboard on 181 cameras that state a microSD capacity.
  • Integration names — Blue Iris profile values collapsed to the names Blue Iris uses (8,229 records); Home Assistant generic_camera → generic, motionEye → motioneye. 4 Sonoff RTSP templates use {user}:{pass}@{ip}.

No new cameras.

@github-actions github-actions released this 01 Oct 14:02
a68f2ac

A data-quality release from the 2026-09-29 CCTV expert audit. Every flagged record was checked against the manufacturer's own documentation (manuals, support KBs, datasheets), then re-checked by an independent reviewer that reverted any edit its source didn't support. Values a manufacturer does not publish were left as they are rather than estimated. No new cameras.

Fixed — RTSP paths (1,105 cameras, 15 brands)

Per-camera RTSP paths that contradicted the brand's documented format:

  • TVT Digital (404) — /ch01/0 → /profile1 (main) + /profile2 (sub), per TVT's camera manuals; the config notes now match.
  • Longse (274) — bare / → /0 (main) + /1 (sub), per Longse's RTSP FAQ.
  • Digital Watchdog (115) — Dahua realmonitor → /profile1 + /profile2 (DW KB 323); the brand guide was corrected too.
  • Honeywell (57) — 35 and 60 Series → /live1s1.sdp, per Honeywell's series guides.
  • Mobotix (42) — /cam0/stream / /mobotix.pro/mxpeg → /stream/profile0 (+ /stream/profile1 sub on single-sensor models), per platform.
  • American Dynamics (41) — /ufirststream → /videoStreamId=1 + /videoStreamId=2 (Illustra Gen4 guides); guide corrected.
  • Panasonic Middle East PM-series (39) — Dahua path → /profile1 + /profile2 (this TVT-made line differs from i-PRO WV-*).
  • RVi (13) — /1/1 → /RVi/1/1 + /RVi/1/2, per RVi's RTSP list.
  • Uniarch (70) — bare / → /media/video1 + /media/video2, per Uniarch's RTSP FAQ.
  • ClareVision CLR-V (25) — Hikvision path → /0 + /1, per Clare's RTSP article; Blue Iris and Home Assistant notes now say Generic/ONVIF instead of the Hikvision protocol. Legacy CV-/CVP- models keep their path.
  • Camius (9) — Dahua path → /ch01/0 + /ch01/1 for direct camera access.
  • Canon (4) — → /rtpstream/config1, per Canon's VB-series operation guides.
  • FLIR (7) — /avc (FLIR's science-camera path) → the security-camera paths per product family (KB 5428).
  • ACTi (4) — /rtsp/av0 → /stream1 + /stream2.
  • EZVIZ (1) — Hikvision /h264/ch1/main/av_stream → EZVIZ's documented /ch1/main (C6N; other models left unchanged until EZVIZ documents them).
  • Amcrest Helix RTSP (#394) — the three Helix (HLX-) cameras (HLX-IP5M-B102EW-AI, HLX-IP5M-T103EW-AI, HLX-IP8M-T303EW-AI) carried the Dahua-style /cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0 path used by other Amcrest models. Amcrest's KB article Accessing Legacy Helix Devices Using RTSP documents a different format for this line: rtsp://{user}:{pass}@{ip}:554/<channel>/<stream>, with stream 1 = main and 0 = sub. Main is now /1/1 and the substream /1/0, with /1/main / /1/sub noted as a fallback. Home Assistant now points at the ONVIF integration and Blue Iris at Generic/ONVIF instead of the Dahua-based options. The Amcrest RTSP guide (strix/verified/amcrest.json) gains the Helix templates, marked Helix-only. Reported via the website by SrDri and Michael M. (Amcrest support).
  • RTSP guides (strix/verified/) — Vivotek /live.sdp + /live2.sdp (pre-0x13 firmware access names), Bosch /rtsp_tunnel, Hanwha multi-sensor /0/profile2/media.smp and ACTi legacy :7070/ documented as valid; Digital Watchdog and American Dynamics guides corrected; Camius, Panasonic PM and FLIR templates added.

Fixed — specs

  • ip_rating +301 on outdoor cameras that had none, only where the datasheet states it (Mapesen, GW Security, American Dynamics, Hanwha, Bosch, Axis, Pelco and others).
  • Resolution — ~140 records whose megapixels disagreed with the pixel dimensions corrected from datasheets (mostly i-PRO and ACTi).
  • weight_g — 15 parse errors (e.g. 5 g) corrected or removed; environment corrected on 18.
  • Brand spelling — Beward → BEWARD (25 cameras) so the brand has one page and its full 361-camera list; VIVOTEK → Vivotek (19).

No new cameras.

v2.26.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 30 Sep 15:57
6733ba0

Dataset reaches 28,400 cameras / 230 brands (+1,038). A deep gap-fill across already-covered brands from official manufacturer sources — every field is transcribed from a manufacturer specification (or its archived copy), and fields a manufacturer does not publish are omitted rather than estimated. No Provision-ISR models are included. Four new brands (Vivint, Defender, Geeni, Merkury); the rest fill genuine catalogue gaps found via manufacturer datasheet APIs/PDFs, China-domestic mirrors, and Internet-Archive captures of discontinued lines.

Enriched — field backfill across covered brands (~24,000 datasheet-sourced values)

A large ADD-only backfill campaign filled missing per-camera fields (power draw, PoE class, voltage, FOV, IR range, main-stream, codecs, max fps, storage, dimensions, weight, operating temperature, aperture, focal length, NDAA, audio) from each model's official datasheet — never overwriting an existing value and never estimating one the manufacturer does not publish. Combined with the new models, the release raised filled values across the 17 core spec lanes by +26,204 vs 2.25.0, led by power.voltage +5,311, consumption_w +2,981, poe_class +1,376, operating_temp +1,857, dimensions +1,706, weight +1,450, aperture +1,424, max_fps +1,266, streams +1,239.

Enrichment spanned ~40 brands to their honest floor: Hikvision (CN-domestic 7-series/PTZ/speed-domes via jiankongqicai spec tables), Dahua (local datasheets + materialfile PDFs), ACTi (live spec API), Axis, i-PRO, Vivotek, Intelbras, Longse, Uniview, Bosch, Mapesen, Hanwha, Pelco, Hyundai, Alibi, Beward, Annke, Sunell, Vitek, Novus, Safire, Avycon, Trassir, Avigilon, Eneo, InVid, BCS, Anpviz, Lilin, Hi-Focus, Speco, TVT, LTS, Kedacom, FLIR, D-Link, RVi, Abus, Tapo, Jovision, Amcrest, Arecont Vision, EZVIZ, Samsung Techwin, Bolide, Ganz, Milesight, Honeywell, Geovision, Infiniti Optics, Jidetech. poe_class is only recorded where a datasheet prints an explicit class number (802.3af/at without a class is left absent) — its low absolute coverage is a manufacturer-disclosure floor, not a gap.

Fixed — data quality

  • Hanwha RTSP — corrected all 665 Wisenet cameras to the documented /profile2/media.smp (main) + /profile3/media.smp (sub) paths (profile1 is MJPEG); PNM multi-sensor units use the per-channel /0/profile2/media.smp form.
  • config_verified reset — 1,270 configs whose "community-verified" flag was unsubstantiated reset to false (31 genuinely verified kept).
  • markets normalized — 5,910 files lowercased with synonyms unified (uk→gb, japan→jp, india→in, germany→de, turkey→tr, europe→eu).
  • analog cleanup — stripped DVR-side video.codecs/streams/configs from 298 coax cameras (encoding is recorder-side).
  • PTZ retyping — 24 DS-2DE/2DC models corrected from other types to ptz; genuine multi-sensor PanoVu left as panoramic.
  • Frigate detect — clamped 1,421 detect blocks to a valid substream/main resolution.

Added — four new brands (+40)

  • Defender +16 — Guard/GO/EverWatch/Frontier consumer + Defender Pro PoE bullet/dome/fisheye/PTZ/ANPR.
  • Geeni +16 — Orbit/Hawk/Scope/Look/Perch Tuya-consumer Wi-Fi cameras, doorbell, floodlight.

Notes

  • Provenance / #165: ~3,524 records cite a China-domestic datasheet mirror or a web.archive.org capture of the official page rather than a live first-party OEM URL (these CN-domestic and discontinued catalogues are not reachable any other way). The data-consistency lint flags these under advisory #165; the specs are transcribed from the official (or officially-archived) datasheets. Non-blocking.
  • Validation: node scripts/build.js — 28,400 cameras, all schema-valid. npm run lint — passes. Aggregates + README.md regenerated; version 2.26.0.

HD-analog records carry connectivity:[coax] / protocols:[hdcvi] with encoder-side fields omitted; IP records carry ONVIF/RTSP with Frigate/Home Assistant/Blue Iris configs.

Changed — data-quality passes

  • Cross-brand and within-brand OEM de-duplication by normalized model number (region/color/lens-config variants folded into aliases).
  • Analog HD cameras normalized to native sensor resolution rather than interpolated marketing megapixels; enum/format corrections (power_source, protocols, source URIs) applied so every record passes strict schema validation and the data-consistency lint.

Changed — data-quality passes

  • video.streams[] backfill/enrichment for the 2.22.0 additions (~2,900 records): per-stream capability breakdowns (name / resolution / fps / codec) — full main+sub where a datasheet publishes a per-stream table, accurate main-only otherwise (issue #177).
  • Dahua field-of-view + dimensions backfill for the 2.22.0 WizMind additions (field_of_view_deg, dimensions_mm).
  • Re-sourcing to official URLs — ABUS, Tiandy and Bosch records whose sources were reseller/dead links now point to official manufacturer sources (issues #336/#164).

Dataset reaches 15,821 cameras / 185 brands (+3,416). A large multi-brand ingestion from official sources only:

Added — Dahua expansion (+59): China-market catalogue + WizMind 4 datasheets

  • Dahua +59, all from official Dahua sources (dahuatech.com product pages and dahuasecurity.com datasheets), real specs only with per-camera Frigate/Home Assistant/Blue Iris (Dahua RTSP/ONVIF) configs:
    • China-market (+17, markets: [cn]): DH-S2-4M Wi-Fi PTZ; entry/starlight IPC lines (HDBW6243R-ZAS, HDW1330DC-A, HDBW4243R-AS, HDW2233C-A, HDW2233DC-A, HDW62W8X-A, HFW62W8Z-I2, X13-A-I2, X13-I1); warm-light full-color (HFW2233DM-LED, HDW2233DT-A-LED, HDW2433T-A-LED); Wi-Fi bullets (P20A3-W, P20A3-WT); and the 行业夜视王 / "Industry Night Vision King" full-color models (HFW5459DM3-JM, HFW5459M1-YL-SA-PV-LED, plus alias added to HFW5859M3-PV-AS-JM).
    • Global WizMind 4 datasheets (+42): Smart Dual-Light "S-IL" domes/turrets/bullets (HDBW…E-S-IL, HDW…T-S-IL, HFW…TC1-S-IL, 2/4/6/8MP); WizColor 24/7 full-color "PRO" turrets/bullets incl. siren-and-light active-deterrence (…-AS-PRO, …-AS-PV-B-PRO); and the AI IR range — fixed E-AS/EM-S and multi-focal T-AS plus motorized-varifocal R-ZAS domes, T-ZS turrets and T-ZAS bullets (2/4/5/8MP, F1.4/F1.5).

Added — existing-brand catalogue gap-fills (+655)

  • Deep gap-fills of nine already-covered brands, each from the manufacturer's official product pages/datasheets (no fabrication; full Frigate/Home Assistant/Blue Iris configs; OEM-accurate RTSP paths): Axis +309 (M/P/Q network + thermal, from official datasheets), ACTi +181 (A/B/D/E/I/K/Q/Z series, NDAA authoritatively flagged), Tiandy +96 (AK/Spark/Pro/PTZ/Wireless/Sunflower), Milesight +38 (AI Motorized/Speed-Dome/full-color/LPR/radar-5G variants), Panasonic +27 (PM-* Dahua-OEM line — distinct from the separate i-PRO brand), Ubiquiti +1 (UniFi Protect AI Theta), Sony +73 (near-complete SNC catalogue: EB/EM/VB/VM/DH/EP/ER/WR/RS/RX/ZM/ZP/EMX/XM/HM/CX from official datasheets) + TP-Link TL-IPC584EP-W4 (issue #379). Discontinued/unsourceable models were skipped rather than guessed.

Added — IDIS full IP catalogue (+100)

  • IDIS +100 (1 -> 101): the full DC-* DirectIP camera range (dome/bullet/turret/PTZ/fisheye/box + explosion-proof + Edge-AI + 20MP multi-directional), from the official IDIS product datasheets and spec pages. Analog DirectCX (TC-*), intercoms, and AI appliances excluded; NDAA flagged per page.

Added — 15 new brands (+643): consumer/prosumer & regional catalogues

Full-catalogue sweeps of fifteen previously-uncovered brands, each sourced from the manufacturer's own site/datasheets (no fabrication; fields absent from a source are omitted, and every record carries a Frigate/Home Assistant/Blue Iris configs block assigned by detected OEM lineage):

  • Safire +194 (#170) — SF-* IP + HDTVI catalogue from official cloudfront datasheets; current IP range detected as TVT-OEM (/profile1), not Hikvision, with the older WH series correctly flagged Hikvision-OEM and analog set to HD-over-coax.
  • Anpviz +105 (#171) — H-Series + U-Series (NDAA) from official product datasheets; Dahua-OEM (/ch01/0).
  • Trassir +98 (#172) — DSSL TR-* IP + analog, full text spec tables from product pages.
  • Vikylin +93 (169→95) — full catalogue from official Vikylin datasheets; Hikvision- vs Dahua-format configs per datasheet.
  • Tenda +36 (#173) — from official Tenda product datasheets, including discontinued models.
  • Ernitec +28 (#174) — NDAA Pluto/Wolf/Deimos (incl. bi-spectral thermal)/Jupitor/Orion/Saturn/Mercury from Icecat-style attribute tables.
  • Jooan +18 (#175), Jennov +16 (#176), YI +10 (#177), Galayou +9 (Wansview-OEM, #178), Kami +8 (#179), Wuuk +8 (#180), Blurams +7 (#181), Cinnado +6 (Wansview-OEM, #182), SwitchBot +4 (#183), Akuvox +2 (VC50B/T, #184) — consumer Wi-Fi / battery / solar / 4G / doorbell / thermal lines; hardware specs taken from each model’s official product page/datasheet, with marketed-vs-real resolution corrected (real W×H recorded, inflated MP kept only in the label). Kits/NVRs/accessories and non-camera products excluded; app/cloud-only models marked as such with no invented RTSP paths.

Added — new brand Vikylin (+2)

  • Vikylin (new brand #169, vikylin.com): DT386G2 (8MP 4K AcuSense DarkFighter fixed turret — Hikvision-OEM, 1/1.8" sensor, 2.8/4/6 mm, IR 30 m, microSD 512GB, IP67) and PG2046IRCS-P (4MP dual-lens panoramic, 2×GC2063, 170° dual white-light+IR illumination, two-way audio). Specs from the official Vikylin datasheets; sourced to vikylin.com.

Added — ESP (+20)

  • ESP (espuk.com) +20 (brand 12 → 32) from official cloudfront datasheet PDFs. IP PoE (15): HDview IP HC828 (8MP dual-light bullet/turret, black/white), HC428 (4MP), HC528FBW (5MP), the H512V motorised-varifocal 5MP bullets/domes (DGA/DWA carry IK10), and RC228TB (completing the RC228 IP set). Analogue HD / coax (5): Rekor RCTB/RCTW/RCBB/RCBW (2MP white-light full-colour) and the FHDVC18PTZ (2MP AHD PTZ, 18× optical zoom). IP models carry ONVIF Profile S/G/T (configs point to ONVIF discovery — ESP publishes no fixed RTSP path); analogue models carry DVR-ingest configs. Codecs omitted (ESP datasheets don't state them). Camera KITS and NVRs excluded.

Added — Homaxi (+5)

  • Homaxi +5 (brand 65 → 70) from a full sweep of the six network-camera categories (i/s/x-series, dual-lens, fisheye, Quvii): IPC4BF2R8-I1-TMCR (8MP dual-light bullet), IPC8MSD2R8-I2 (dual-directional PanoVu), QUV-IPC7Q458B48R-I (4MP Quvii bullet), plus IPC8TF4R8-AD2 and IPC8MSB2R8-AD-TPMSC (partial records where the official listing states limited specs — unknown fields omitted). All 68 distinct catalogue models now covered.

Added — Arecont Vision (+43) & Matrix backfill

  • Arecont Vision (AV Costar) +43 (brand 89 → 132): a gap analysis against the live AV Costar catalogue added the current ConteraIP lines (Indoor/Outdoor Dome, Bullet, Micro Bullet, MicroDome LX, MicroDome Duo LX, Omni LX / Omni LX RS, Fisheye, Panoramic), SurroundVideo Omni G3 & G5 Mini multi-imagers, MicroBullet, MegaDome G3 RS, and the 4K/UltraHD MegaDome/MegaVideo box models — each from its official AV Costar datasheet PDF. ConteraIP = H.265/H.264/MJPEG; older MegaIP lines = H.264/MJPEG. Multi-imager models typed panoramic. One-representative-per-body convention kept (feature/mount-suffix twins of existing bodies not duplicated).
  • Matrix SATATYA MITC20FL28/36/60CWS P2 (already present) backfilled with warm-LED range (30 m) and color min-lux (0.01) from their official datasheets.

Added — 4 new consumer brands (+42) & Reolink (+7)

  • Vstarcam (new brand #165, +22), Wansview (new brand #166, +13), Sonoff (ITEAD, new brand #167, +6), Shelly (Allterco, new brand #168, +1) — consumer/prosumer Wi-Fi cameras sourced from each vendor's official site (vstarcam.com / wansview.com / sonoff.tech / shelly.com + kb.shelly.cloud). Ingestion target list came from the thingino firmware supported-device catalogue; where thingino documents the exact model, its Ingenic SoC + image sensor were attached as supplementary soc/sensor (thingino.com cited alongside the official page). RTSP/ONVIF templates applied only where the vendor officially documents local streaming — battery/4G/app-cloud-only models (per each vendor's own FAQ) are marked cloud/app-only with no invented stream URL. Records with no officially-stated resolution were dropped rather than fabricated.
  • Reolink +7: C1 Pro (4MP indoor pan/tilt). A gap analysis against Reolink's current catalogue added the 6 remaining uncovered 2025–26 models — Go Ultra (4K 4G bullet), TrackMix LTE Plus 2 / TrackMix Wired LTE / TrackMix (battery) dual-lens auto-tracking PTZs, OMVI 2i PoE (5MP+5MP dual-lens), and the RP-WCB8MZ 4K Wi-Fi optical-zoom bullet. Wired/PoE models carry documented RTSP/ONVIF; battery/4G models are cloud-managed. RLC-423 (already present) backfilled with poe_class.

Added — LTS IP catalogue (+177)

  • LTS +177 IP cameras across the Platinum (CMIP/LTCMIP), LX AI (LXIP) and Vantage (VSIP) lines — turret/dome/bullet/box/fisheye/panoramic/dual-lens (incl. LPR bullets) — sourced to their official ltsecurityinc.com product pages. Specs transcribed from the manufacturer spec tables (no fabrication; sparse pages kept only the fields actually stated). Configs assigned by OEM lineage: Platinum/LX = Hikvision-OEM (/Streaming/Channels/101), Vantage = Uniview-OEM (Ultra265, /unicast/c1/s0/live). Records with mismatched/conflicting source pages were dropped rather than guessed. LTS brand total now 188 (the largest single-brand catalogue in the dataset after the majors).

Added — LTS (+4) & Tapo (+2)

  • LTS +4 from official pic.ltsmall.com datasheets: CMHT3C5PW-28L (5MP dual-lens 180° panoramic HD-TVI turret, Hikvision-OEM analog), CMHT1722-28LS (2MP HD-TVI turret, hybrid IR/white + two-way + siren), VSPTZIP3122WSL-X4IR (2×2MP dual-lens IP PTZ, Uniview-OEM/Ultra265, fixed panorama + 4× zoom detail channel with PTZ auto-tracking, ONVIF S/G, PoE+), and LV-PWFL6 (2MP Wi-Fi floodlight camera — dual 13 W lamps, PIR, two-way, 110 dB siren, RTSP + microSD/cloud).
  • Tapo +2: C103 and C104 (1080p indoor Wi-Fi bullets, local RTSP + ONVIF), from official TP-Link spec pages.

Added — Verkada (+9) & Vivotek (+5)

@github-actions github-actions released this 18 Sep 12:13
96a32d9

Dataset grows to 12,405 cameras / 159 brands (+7 Hikvision models added while re-sourcing). A data-enrichment + provenance pass across four lanes: System-on-Chip (SoC) from community firmware projects, IK impact rating extracted from cameras' own feature text, specific image-sensor part numbers, and a large Hikvision OEM re-sourcing effort (#164).

Added — IK / impact rating (#162)

  • ik_rating on 38 cameras (dataset-wide → 5,055 / 40.8%): extracted the explicit IK rating (all IK10) already stated in each camera's features[] into the structured field — Amcrest (8), Avycon (6), Hikvision (12) vandal domes, Dallmeier (3), GeoVision (3), Jidetech (3), Panasonic (2), Bosch MIC-612. Pure extraction of stated values, not datasheet re-reads.
  • Held (never-misrepresent): 17 cameras whose IK10 is conditional — "IK10 with optional housing" (Hanwha SNP ×6), "IK10 (optional)" (Dahua ×5, Kedacom ×4, ACTi railway), or an IK10 junction box (Speco) — the base camera isn't inherently IK10, so left blank.

Changed — OEM re-sourcing: Hikvision (#164)

  • Re-sourced 166 Hikvision records from reseller mirrors (download.axilogi.com, manuals.plus, scribd, hikvision-peru, …) to their official assets.hikvision.com / hikvision.com datasheet PDFs — each URL verified (curl 200 where the CDN allows; the content/dam PDFs sit behind an Akamai JS challenge and were confirmed from the official product listing). Hikvision reseller-only 192 → 26; dataset-wide #165 flag 726 → 563.
  • Added 7 new Hikvision models surfaced during re-sourcing, all from official datasheets: DS-2CD2386G2H-I (8MP DarkFighter turret, no-audio -I), DS-2CD2086G2H-I2U/SL (8MP white-strobe + audible-deterrence bullet), the DS-2CV2×xxG2-IDW Wi-Fi family — DS-2CV2021G2-IDW (2MP bullet), DS-2CV2141G2-IDW (4MP dome), DS-2CV2121G2-IDW (2MP dome, H.264) — and the ColorVu motorized-PTRZ varifocal domes DS-2CD2747G2H-LIPTRZS (4MP, IK10) and DS-2CD2787G2H-LIPTRZS (8MP, IK10).
  • ~26 records remain on reseller mirrors (exact-SKU official docID not yet located) — tracked for a follow-up pass. The DS-2CD2043G2-L record is a probable truncated duplicate of DS-2CD2043G2-LI (left for review, not re-sourced).

Changed — provenance heuristic (#164 / #165)

  • Taught the #165 official-source check two hosts its brand-token matcher can't reach: tkhsecurity.com (Siqura's TKH Security parent catalog) and rvigroup.ru (RVi — brand token "rvi" is under 4 chars). Reseller-only flag count 735 → 726; both were already excluded from the real re-sourcing backlog, so this just makes the tool agree.

Added — SoC / chipset (#284, #122)

  • soc on 15 cameras (dataset-wide 46 → 61): Tapo C110 / C200 / C200C / C210 and ieGeek SC1 (Ingenic T23N); IMOU Ranger 2 (T31N); LaView L2 (T31L); Xiaomi Mi Camera 2K magnetic-mount (T31); Eufy Indoor Cam 2K Pan&Tilt and Outdoor Cam E220 (T31X); Uniarch IPC-D122-PF28 (SigmaStar SSC335); Wyze Cam v3 Pro (T40XP), Cam v4 (T41NQ), Cam Pan v4 (T32NQ), Floodlight Cam v2 (T41NQ).
  • Specific image sensor on 4 Wyze models that already carried an SoC family: Cam v3 / Cam Pan v2 / Cam Pan v3 → GalaxyCore GC2053; Cam v2 → SOI JXF22.
  • Provenance: thingino configs/cameras/ build targets (filenames encode the exact flashed SoC + sensor) and the OpenIPC supported-devices list — verified firmware targets, not datasheet inferences. Where we already had a Wyze SoC family, thingino independently agreed.
  • Held (never-guess): Tapo C100 / C500 ship as either Ingenic T23N or T31L across production batches (cross-family ambiguity) — left empty rather than pick one.

@github-actions github-actions released this 17 Sep 14:02
82abc45

Dataset reaches 12,398 cameras / 159 brands (+12). New Cohu brand (analog traffic PTZ positioners), a set of Bosch AutoDome and Axis PTZ / multi-sensor models sourced from official datasheets, a new CC0 model-enrichment extract for external map/3D viewers, and Frigate-config / video-stream / IK-rating backfills for IC Realtime and Homaxi.

Added — Cohu (new brand) + Bosch AutoDome + Axis (+12)

  • Cohu (new brand, +3): 3950 iVIEW, 3960 (3964/3965 variants) and 3920 iDome (3923/3925) — analog traffic PTZ camera/positioner systems (1/4" CCD, 470 TVL, 23x zoom, day/night, NEMA TS2, IP67). Modeled as connectivity: ["coax"] with no configs; their datasheets publish no field-of-view in degrees, so field_of_view_deg is deliberately absent rather than computed.
  • Bosch AUTODOME (+5): AUTODOME IP starlight 7000i (NDP-7512-Z30), AUTODOME IP starlight 7000 HD, AUTODOME IP dynamic 7000 HD, and the VG4 modular AutoDome 300 + 500i series — each from the official Bosch datasheet with real FOV, lens, sensor, and sensitivity.
  • Axis (+4): Q6155-E and Q6054-E (PTZ speed domes), plus Q6000-E Mk II and P3707-PE (typed panoramic — 4-sensor 360° overview and 4-sensor multidirectional). From axis.com datasheets.
  • Model aliases carry each vendor's registry spellings (e.g. VG4 AUTODOME H.264, 3925 Dome, VG5-836) so public-catalogue deployments resolve to the right record.

Added — model-enrichment extract + tooling

  • data/model-enrichment.json — a slim, endpoint-free CC0 projection of the dataset (id, brand, model, aliases, type, spec-page URL, FOV, resolution, PTZ, night vision, NDAA) for external viewers that enrich identified camera hardware. Regenerated by the new scripts/gen-model-enrichment.js. Excludes sources, configs and RTSP data by design — it describes camera products, not installations.

Changed — IC Realtime Frigate configs (#170)

  • Backfilled configs.frigate on 47 legacy IC Realtime IP records (Dahua-OEM /cam/realmonitor scheme) that shipped without one.

Changed — video.streams[] + ik_rating (#177)

  • Backfilled video.streams[] and verified ik_rating across 133 records — 68 IC Realtime and 65 Homaxi — from their official datasheets.

Verified — community config reports

  • Uniview IPC2224SE-DF40K-WL-I0 (#368): Frigate config confirmed working on 0.17.2 (main stream) — marked verified.
  • Tapo C210 (#367): Frigate config confirmed working on 0.18 (main stream) — marked verified.

Fixed

  • bosch-ndp-5502-30 (AUTODOME IP 5000i): removed a fabricated night_vision (ir / 180 m) — this camera has no IR illuminator; 180 m was the DORI person-identification distance at 30x. Re-sourced with the real FOV (60.9-2.4°), lens, sensor, and sensitivity, and completed the record.
  • Added the VG5-836 alias to bosch-vg5-836-ecev.
