I build and maintain complex frontend systems β the kind that need to scale without falling apart.
Frontend engineer with 5+ years in B2B SaaS and complex product UIs. I take on the work most people avoid: I migrated a live, customer-facing app from Angular to React single-handedly, without pausing a single feature release.
That's how I work. I own the hard, high-risk parts of a frontend and make them boring. Stable, scalable, and easy for the next engineer to change.
A few things I've shipped:
- Led a migration of a customer portal (orders, deliveries, company services) from Angular 14 to React 18, keeping feature delivery uninterrupted.
- Built a product configurator from scratch in Next.js that cut sliding-system setup from ~1 hour to 7-8 minutes, letting customers self-serve instead of waiting on a manager.
- Standardised UI at scale: 35+ reusable components adopted across a team, plus a core Select component consolidated across 150+ usage points.
- Virtualised a data-heavy editable table so it went from stalling at ~200 rows to running smoothly at 3,000 (roughly 15x).
- Removed 10,000+ lines of dead code across modernisation work.
Current stack: React, TypeScript, Next.js and Vue (2/3), with Redux Toolkit, AG Grid, Storybook, and testing (Vitest, Playwright, Testing Library). I lean hard on design systems, mentor junior engineers, and set the shared standards a team builds on. I also work daily with AI-assisted tooling (Cursor, Claude Code) to move faster without cutting corners.
