Email message area background is dark for all emails

Description of bug

Email message area is dark for all messages causing message which expect a white background to be illegible. Below is an examle of one email which has it's own background for certain areas of the email markup, but some areas are expecting a light background (white background).

Expected behavior

All email messages which have HTML markup and CSS styles have a light or white background. Regular text based messages can be align with the dark theme as they currently do.
