Gadget Nickname String Overflow

i've noticed with some of the longer gadget names, after leaving the character edit screen and reopening it, the name will bug out and add extra characters to it. attempting to delete the characters makes an undeletable "I" appear and trying to delete the entire name freezes the game. you can preemptively avoid this by renaming the gadget to something shorter when you first get it but once it happens you're stuck with it.

Thanks for documenting this, will comment some of my personal findings here as well.
This problem extends to character nicknames as well except in that case it will cut off instead of having bleed from another string.
The game only allows 9 characters for a string with a secret tenth character being reserved as the null terminator.
I believe when the game saves the player data struct to memory it never ensures that the strings are null terminated.
Input fields for the game need to be adjusted to support more characters, to throw a number out there probably 16.
