Align teams. Record decisions. Ship with clarity.
TeamForge is a portfolio-grade engineering leadership platform for Tech Leads, Engineering Leads, Developers, and Product partners. It focuses on engineering execution, technical decisions, project health, risks, auditability, and team alignment rather than generic task tracking.
Software delivery is not only a list of tickets. A technical leader needs to know what the team is building, what is blocked, which priorities changed, which risks are open, and why architectural decisions were made. TeamForge connects planning, backlog, sprint execution, ADRs, and risk management in one modular monolith.
- Organization-based multi-tenancy.
- RBAC for
ADMIN,TECH_LEAD,DEVELOPER, andPRODUCT. - Teams, members, projects, project health, and ownership.
- Backlog with status lifecycle, priority, business value, technical complexity, and a priority matrix.
- Sprint lifecycle with one active sprint per project.
- Technical decisions and ADR-style lifecycle: proposed, accepted, rejected, superseded.
- Risk scoring using probability x impact.
- Comments on backlog items, decisions, and risks.
- Audit log for relevant leadership actions.
- Health, readiness, structured logs, OpenAPI, and Prometheus-compatible metrics.

The backend is a modular monolith. Redis is intentionally not included because there is no demonstrated need for shared caching or distributed rate limiting in the current scope.
- Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, Fastify, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Vitest, Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Frontend: React, TypeScript, Vite, React Router, TanStack Query, CSS.
- Infra: Docker, Docker Compose, Nginx, GitHub Actions.
- Observability: Pino, request IDs,
/health,/ready,/metrics, OpenTelemetry API base.
