Hopefully this isn't redundant, sorry if so. I did search first.
So, I can tag (and search) people on some other ActivityPub-based platforms, like I know Mastodon works for example. However, Lemmy does not. Haven't tried PieFed or Mbin yet. See these two loops for examples:
It's not super important, I'm sure there's a zillion other things that are way more critical to get done. Thanks for all your hard work!
Steps to reproduce
- Tag a Lemmy community and a Mastodon user in the body of a Loops post.
- Post it.
- The Mastodon user will be tagged properly, but the Lemmy community shows up as plain text, and the post does not appear there.
Loops version
Web version, x86 architecture, Windows 11, unmodded Chrome browser. Instance said "Updated February 20, 2026" at the time.
