Project What it does
SciBlend Official Blender extension for scientific visualization. Imports formats Blender does not read natively (VTK, netCDF, Shapefile), generates shaders, legends and coordinate grids, and renders large time-varying data with Cycles and EEVEE. Extension · Source · Paper
SciGraphs Official Blender extension for network science. Graph layouts, centrality metrics, community detection, geospatial data and sparse-matrix input, plus Geometry Nodes, VR inspection and LLM-assisted scene generation. Extension · Paper
BasicSpanner C++/Qt6 desktop application for extreme graph simplification. Given a set of seed nodes it computes the basic network: the strict spanner holding those seeds plus the minimal set of connectors that preserves the distances between them. Source
