@vitest/coverage-v8@5.0.0 requires vitest@^5 as a peer dependency, but vitest itself was still pinned at ^4.1.4. The version mismatch broke `vitest run --coverage` with `AssertionError: coverageFilesDirectory is required`, failing CI across all Node versions.
coverage.include: ['**/src'] only matched the src directory entry itself, not files inside it. @vitest/coverage-v8@4.x tolerated this and still instrumented src/**, but 5.x's stricter glob matching produced an empty coverage report (0 files, 0.0%), which failed octocov's 80% acceptable threshold. Use '**/src/**' so files under src are actually matched.
